The highlight of departing from a smaller airport onto a smaller airplane was boarding! The lady at the inside gate let Nikolai talk on her radio to the ground crew. "Trick-or-Treat! Where's my candy!" was what she coached him to say. The blonde at the foot of the stairs was who he was talking to. She didn't have any candy but the pilots brought some for every child on board!
After experiencing the walking toy at Karl's house Sara was excited to practice this new skill and pushed her stroller around in circle during our layover.A big THANK YOU to Amy for dropping us off and picking us up at the airport!

Thanks for the account of your trip! It is almost like I got to go there with you. I love seeing you guys have fun together. You make one good family. Loved it all! Oh, and I will drive you to the airport anytime, with all of Mike's trips I am actually getting quite good at it.
