Sara's been able to climb a little bit up until now. She celebrated her first birthday by discovering how she can truly go as high as she wants to...
Up on the piano, she pushes her car over, climbs on the bench, then the keyboard, and will get to the top if I let her. I've discovered that the piano bench has to be tucked ALL the way in ALL the time or I turn the corner and find this...
AHHHH!

This is her favorite little chair to climb. She can't quite get onto the big kitchen chairs but she CAN get onto this one then onto a big kitchen chair THEN onto the table...

Here is the beginning of her piano climbing discoveries, see the back leg on its way up to the bench? She loves playing the piano just like her big brother and sister and now can reach it all by herself!

If she pushes a box or toy or pillow over to our round coffee table she can get up on that too...

Couches are no big deal anymore. She used to need her trusty box to get up there but now can do it all by herself. This one isn't so bad except that means I have to baby proof even higher up the bookshelf.

An all time favorite, classic Sara move, climbing into the recycling bin. She is also rather proficient at climbing on top of filled laundry baskets and loves to be pushed from one room to the next on laundry days on top of clean or dirty laundry, she has no preference.

Her all time favorite place to climb to... the back of Mommy's chair when she is on the computer, Mommy then pretends to "sit" on her and Sara laughs and laughs.

It sounds kind of perverse to say it, but there are certain advantages to having a child with limited mobility. That looks scary!!
Soooooo cute! We used to call these "caught-cha" moments. LOL
