Hawaii Party

MaryKate always seems to have some sort of swimming, ocean, or Hawaii related party. It is nice because all the luau decorations go on sale right before her birthday. This year we invited 5 of her friends over. They enjoyed Karaoke singing to High School Musical, a Hula Dancer cake with Margarita's to drink, a fish pinata, and slip-n-slide. It was a roaring success. We had her party the week after her birthday because we were out of town.

I put trick candles on her cake so eventually all of her friends, especially Emma, joined in the fight to blow them all out. You can see in Gabi's hands (the right side of the picture) the coconut cups that MaryKate insisted on buying. They went perfect with the Margarita's that Kevin mixed up.
All the girls also got a hula skirt and lei's to wear over their swimming suits... too cute!
From left to right, MaryKate, Eriana, Susanna, Gabi, Chesley, Emery, Nikolai, Emma waiting patiently for their turn. You can see all the discarded skirts on the grass.
