Our New Car!!!

We have been thinking in the back of our minds ever since we decided to start trying to have another baby that we would need a bigger car. I was thinking we'd wait until closer to when the baby was born but when Kevin saw this deal he couldn't pass it up. It is a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer. It seats 7 and is in great shape.

We took the kids out for their first drive in it to get ice-cream. This is what the back looks like. The big kids do like to sit in the back but for the first ride they wanted to be on the same row as Sara. The back bench has two seat belts and the middle one has three. All of these seats, or just some of them can be folded down to create a flat bed. It doesn't have as much storage space as I'd like but it came with a roof rack luggage bag and it has a trailer hitch so that long trips will be no problems trying to figure out where to put luggage.

Besides the shortage of storage, I really love it. It gets great gas mileage, blows cold AC, is all tinted windows and it is sooooo nice to not have to bend over to buckle Sara into her car seat. That fact makes me so happy as I think of my belly just getting bigger and bigger. Sara making a mess out of her ice cream. So we stayed outside to let the kids finish up so we could hose her down before going inside. The big kids were sitting on our bench and Sara has to do everything that they do!
