Sara's new favorite toy are these two really weird lizards that I bought for her after she picked them up at Wal-Mart and hugged them and would not put them down. They are her "Attack Lizards" (she growls like a dinosaur then attacks me with them and I am supposed to lay down and pretend to be dead, it is a FUN game) and they go almost everywhere with her.

She carries them around by their tails or on the back of her neck like this...

Nikolai ran for Student Counsel, Vice President this year! He asked for a shirt on election/speech day so I made this with iron on letters. He didn't win but was proud of himself for running and thought he did a good job which is what I was hoping he'd get out of it.

He is already planning on running for Treasurer next year and has even planned out his campaign. These are the signs I made him to hang up in the gym during election week. I used my awesome new Cricut machine to cut out the letters and shapes.

For those who don't know what a Cricut machine is this is a picture of the try-out projects I did with the kids on Mother's Day. It can do so much more then what these pictures show and I've discovered more and more each day but I thought this was a good sampling. All the shapes and letters are cut out and the Sun Flower picture is actually a card that is cut out in layers, folded in half, and glued together. I LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!! Thank you Kevin!

Good for you, Nikolai! All right! Love, Grandma Diane & Bill :-)
I love the photo of Sara and her shadow holding the lizard. It's adorable as well as really great composition! Your new machine sounds great, too. Looks like you can do so much, so quickly! Love Mom
