Food, Food, and more Food

Sara is a nursing queen and as a result she absolutely refuses to have anything to do with bottles. At the same time, sippy cups are totally out of the question. She happily drinks out of a regular cup or out of this great sippy cup with a straw!
Here is a demonstration of her drinking out of a real cup at dinner. Most of it amazingly gets inside of her, as long as I only put in 1/4 inch of liquid.

Sara is at that delightful stage where she insists on feeding herself. This makes for a very happy, hungry and messy baby. This was donut day and the day where she discovered how much she loves chocolate. A long way from the new born who threw up all day if I ate one thin mint.
Plums. Need I say more? We currently use three spoons to feed Sara. She'll juggle with you, taking one out of your hand to feed herself, then dropping it when you come up with another. So she constantly needs one in each hand then one for me so some of the food actually gets in her tummy. It is a circus some days at meal times.
This happens more often then I ever thought possible. She doesn't just fall asleep in her high chair... she falls asleep WHILE eating.

Oh my goodness, Heidi, you have the patience of a saint. It must take forever to clean up... she is cute enough to eat though.
