First week in the hospital

Here are the promised photos from my camera instead of my cell phone:
Kyle in the ER. They only have big beds even though it is a pediatric ER.

We had just purchased Charlie Brown for Kyle when we went to Knott's Berry Farm the weekend before he was hospitalized because we thought they looked so much a like. He loves looking at him and playing with him and we kept them together the entire hospital stay. He is now an official "Lovey" that Kyle sleeps with every night.
Kyle in the ambulance on the way from Banner Desert Cardons Childrens Medical Center to Phoenix Children's Hospital. They have special infant seat straps that he is buckled up in. It was a very bumpy ride, no shocks in the back. It was also different scenery then I'm used to since I was looking out the back window the entire way.
We've yet to get Kyle's insurance straightened out so we are beginning to get medical bills in. This particular ride is only about $900. The entire two night stay at Banner Desert is valued just under $10,000. I'm actually really curious to see how much our entire hospital stay is, including the surgery. I'm guessing it is between $250,000 to $500,000.
