The good news: Kyle was finally approved for AHCCCS insurance!!!!
The bad news: It is effective May 1st... We entered the hospital on April 28th.
The good news: We won't have to pay the approximately $500,000 hospital bill
The bad news: We will have to pay approximately $20,000 in hospital bills.
The funny news: The financial counselor at PCH offered me a 20% discount if I paid my bill off today.

Well, you could use a credit card or some external financing.
Honestly though, can you think of anything better to spend $20,000 on?
If it comes down to having to pay it the hospital is very willing to set up payment options which has better options then any outside funding source. The problem is my other kids were all approved as of jan 1st but kyle was neither approved or denied. I'm not done fighting to get those two days covered.
